This is our exclusive Timm Ranch yarn in one ounce skeins, naturally dyed with plants from the farm.

Each 1-ounce skein is approximately 96 yards of 2-ply sport-weight yarn.

Current selections are:
Dark brown - walnut hulls
Light brown - walnut hulls or black walnut
Rose color - madder root
Gold - dahlia
Yellow - weld
Photos show that there is a range of colors in each dye lot. Mix and match colors for a unique project using this very soft yarn.

Exclusive! Locally grown wool yarn from the Timm Ranch in Solano County, California. Our 2021 Timm Ranch yarn is a beautiful creamy white 2-ply sport weight yarn. I selected 230 pounds of the finest wool on the Timm’s shearing day. I skirted fleeces and shipped the wool to Mountain Meadow Wool in Wyoming where it was scoured, carded, and spun. There is a minor amount of vegetable matter in the yarn because Mountain Meadow does not use any chemical process to remove it.
