We specialize in Solano County grown wool, but I have some other favorites in the shop. My new favorite non-Solano County yarn is U.S. grown and processed Nature Spun from Brown Sheep Company. That is available in the shop at the farm, but it’s too hard to keep up with on-line listings since I am using the yarn here for my own weaving. I have Ashford kits listed here.

What’s included in each kit?
• Complete, clear warping and weaving instructions for an easy, stress-free process
• 1 x 100g ball of Ashford DK Yarn (100% pure New Zealand wool) for the warp
• 1 x 60g ball of Mohair Looped Boucle (80% Mohair, 10% Wool, 10% Nylon binder) for the weft
• Finished scarf size: 22cm (8 11/16”) wide x 180cm (70 7/8”) long, excluding fringes
You will need:
Rigid heddle or shaft-loom with 7.5 or 8 dpi reed. Kit is woven in plain weave.
