Schacht Four Harness Loom, purchased in 1979, very gently used, in excellent condition. It is made of hard maple, finished with a hand rubbed danish oil. The metal parts are made with extruded or cast aluminum. The loom comes complete and ready to use and features the following:

     -the loom folds to a 25"depth to facilitate moving and storing

     -the sides of the beater frame are open ended which allows for the use of oversized reeds

     -the rear warp beam folds up against the castle to make threading the heddles convenient.

     -the rear warp beam has a friction brake for even tension and smooth warp advancement

     -the jack system is designed for easy treadling

     -the tie up system is very fast and simple

     -the harnesses come out of the castle providing easy access for changing the heddles.

       The price for a comparable Schacht loom today is between $3,600 to $5,306. I will sell this one for $2,000, or best offer.
