When the Jacob sheep are harvested I try to use all the animal. Gourmet customers are happy to buy the lamb to fill the freezer with healthy, locally grown meat. I salt the hides and they are transformed by a tannery into beautiful soft sheepskins. I make buttons from the horns. Skulls sell out as soon as I list them. However, preparing those skulls is always on the bottom of my list because I don’t do it as well as everything else I do and it takes time. In sorting through all the “in-progress” skulls in the barn I found a lot of miscellaneous parts and decided to offer these collections for those customers who might find these parts interesting…Halloween decor? Art project? Science exploration? Make your own buttons?

Study the photos. You see what you get. These may not be well cleaned. Since sorting and photographing the collections they have been in a plastic bag so they are not any dirtier and dustier than when I photographed them. The skulls on the table are NOT in the collection but shows what it’s like when things are uncovered in the barn all summer. These are on my list of things to do.
