3/2 American Maid™ sustainable, unmercerized cotton makes a wonderful placemat. You can decide how embellished you want to make them. We include instructions for multiple types of hand-manipulated weaves to use as edges on your mats. All instructions require only 2 shafts. Perfect for your rigid heddle loom.
We include 1 small cone of either brown or green naturally colored yarn to add as accents on your mats.
Project Description:

Four placemats (warp twice on a rigid heddle loom, 2 placemats each time)
12.75” x 19.5” finished size.
Equipment Needed:
Rigid Heddle Loom with at least 15-inch weaving width, or other loom.
10 dent rigid heddle or reed
Pick-up stick (for leno, Mexican Lace or Brook’s bouquet), stick or boat shuttle
