Luxurious and soft lambskins! Perfect for bare feet in the morning, on a cold chair or a hard bench, under the sheet in bed or in baby's crib, or in your car. Replace your old under-the-sleeping-bag-pad with a thick, warm lambskin the next time you go camping. Some people swear that these lambskins have medicinal properties - maybe it's just that snuggling into a soft, cozy lambskin is so comforting and relaxing. Lambskins make great wedding or baby gifts.

From Driftless Tannery about mimosa tanned hides :
Every hide is tanned naturally and responsibly, without the use of heavy metals or harsh chemicals, giving farmers and retail clients beautiful sheepskin and goat hides, naturally.
General Maintenance:
Wool is remarkable resilient and naturally stain resistant. Most dirt and debris can be easily removed from the fiber with a good brushing or shaking it outside like you would a small area rug. Wool that has become matted down from use can be revived with a good brushing or fluffing. Simply shaking it out by hand should sufficiently rid the hide of most dust and debris.
Spot Cleaning: You can use a spray bottle and lightly spray the stain or spot treat with a damp cloth. When wetting the wool, please make sure to spot clean in one direction, and avoid rubbing the area. Moisture + wool + agitation = felting!
Machine Washing: In the event that you want to clean the entire hide, you can wash bark tanned hides in the washing machine. It’s best to use a gentle cycle with cool water. Wool can be affected by washing machine action. Avoid putting the hide in a clothes dryer. While still wet, lay the hide somwhere flat to dry. You may find the edges of the hide curl a bit during the drying process. Gently smooth the edges as it dries.
Do not store hides in air tight bags in order to avoid collecting moisture.
NOTE: Washing any hide may change its character. Driftless Tannery is not responsible for changes that occur from washing.
