Cozy and cuddly! This throw is soft and just right for curling up on the couch or as an extra cover in bed. When you give a wool throw you are giving the gift of warmth!

There is a special story about this blanket. It is one of my popular Year to Remember blankets but the first one that I wove using all naturally dyed yarns. I dyed the yarn with hollyhock and cosmos flowers, Indigo leaves, weld, and madder root, all grown here on the farm. The stripe pattern follows the daily high temperatures for Vacaville in 2022. It comes with a card that matches colors with temperature.

The yarn is fine, soft wool from Rambouillet/Targhee type sheep that live at the nearby Timm Ranch. I am at the shearing every spring and select the fleeces I want for this exclusive yarn. All the weft yarn is naturally dyed. I grew the indigo, hollyhocks and dahlias. A friend dyed the lichen and mushroom colors.
