We offer a variety of small, personal weaving classes. If you see a class that you would like to take but it is not
scheduled or at a time that you can’t come please email Robin to schedule a class.
Fall 2022: I started to offer virtual classes in 2021, but it seems difficult to offer the kind of class I like to present.
The exception is our Wednesday Weavers—Zoom is great for that! And we throw in a few in-person activities as well.

Do you need help...Figuring out how much yarn is needed for a project? Deciphering a threading draft? Deciding on warp & weft yarns and sett? Troubleshooting? This class is an opportunity for you to have your questions answered and to learn from others' weaving questions and experiences. Participants will bring ideas, yarns, drafts, finished (and unfinished) projects, and problems for discussion.
How this works on Zoom: The best way to share projects and questions about yarn, etc is to email me photos ahead of time—yarn, woven sample, draft, etc. I will include that in a weekly slide show that everyone can see more easily. You can also send a photo of a page of a book if you need help with a draft or let me know the book or magazine page—I may have that here. Sometimes I have a lesson about a particular topic in addition to answering questions and I am open to suggestions.
Visit one time or come regularly--this class is offered on a drop-in basis with dates listed here but no need to sign up ahead of time. Wednesday Weavers have also met in-person at the farm a few times over the last several months for painted warp or dye days. These special days are planned during our Zoom sessions.
Here is what one new weaver says: "When I look at yarn now I'm starting to think what I can weave, rather than what I can knit with it!"

Experience: None.
Price: In person classes used to be $10. I didn’t charge while getting this figured out in 2020 but some people have sent a check to help out with Zoom costs, etc. Starting in January 2021 I asked for an optional $10 fee. This is voluntary. You can keep track of your attendance and send a check to cover several meetings or pay through this listing on the website.
